And Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20)

Black mustard (Sinapis nigra) is the smallest seed of a wild plant, but when planted in the ground it grows into a tree that can grow ten feet or more.

The Lord used it to depict the growth of the Kingdom of God,

The Lord is looking for this amount of faith, the amount of a mustard seed, so that God's hand can move in our lives.

The Lord is looking for the person who trusts in God's ability to move the mountains that stand before Him, no matter how big these mountains are.

Sometimes we face problems, obstacles, and pressures that are like mountains on our chests.

Sometimes doors are closed to us and we wait for God's hand to open them.

But the Lord is waiting for the faith that will move these mountains, faith like a mustard seed.

He is waiting for the person who trusts in God's ability and faithfulness and declares the moving of these mountains.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or become weary; there is no searching of His understanding." (Isaiah 40:28).

Our Heavenly Father

We thank you, O Lord God Almighty

Help our weak faith, O Lord

Give us faith as small as a mustard seed

O Holy Spirit of God

I trust in you and I trust that you are able to

move mountains from before me

Mountains of worry and grief

Mountains of illness

Mountains of debt

Mountains of exams and difficult studies

Mountains of work

Mountains of strained relationships

Mountains of closed doors

Mountains of tension, confusion and fear

I declare my trust in you, O Lord, and I trust that you are the living God who is able to remove every problem in my life in the name of Jesus.

“Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20).

Good morning with the light of Christ
